Our project focuses on Sanchi Oil Spill from January 2018. SAT pictures we usually see in TV broadcasting are a more common way to represent this kind of data. However, we can build an imaginary space of the oil spill and target a different kind of sensibility through sonification. We aim to immerse the visitors into the collision and provide an in-depth but still concise summary of the topic and the sonification method. Our audios draw from datasets containing data from 45 days after the event. We provide the source links as well to enable the visitors to dig into the subject further.
